Between all your classes and maybe even another job, it is easy to let your own practice slide. And suddenly, it has been weeks or even months since you joined a class! Is this relatable?
I know that when this happens to me, i am in trouble!
I start to feel disconnected from the ultimate goal of this job, less inspired, more tired and ultimately less motivated and capable of doing this job! The giving and receiving has become out of balance and there is only one way to reverse this: to fill up my own reserves! This can take many forms, but a really effective one (for me) is to go to another teacher’s class and let myself be guided and receive what i so often and wholeheartedly offer to others.
